Copyright & Takedown Policy

EatGolfSleep respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same of everyone who uses this site. This page explains what we do if you believe material on the site infringes your copyright, and how to request its removal.

Who owns what

Listings on EatGolfSleep include factual directory data from openly licensed sources and information provided by business owners, along with photos, descriptions, and other content submitted by those owners. Site content, editorial writing, and design are owned by EatGolfSleep. All trademarks and photographs remain the property of their respective owners.

Designated agent (DMCA)

Under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, notices of claimed infringement should be sent to our designated agent:

Digital Directories LLC

Attn: Copyright Agent

1110 Tuscarawas Ave NW

New Philadelphia, OH 44663

Email: [email protected]

How to file a takedown request

Please include all of the following in your notice:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, or a list of such works.
  2. The exact web address (URL) on EatGolfSleep of the material you want removed — one line per item is fine.
  3. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We review valid notices and remove or disable access to infringing material as required by law. We may notify the party who posted the material and, where appropriate, give them the opportunity to file a counter-notice. Repeat infringers may lose access to their accounts and listings.

If you believe your removed material was misidentified or removed by mistake, you may send a written counter-notice to the agent above with the same details: identification of the removed material and its prior location, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your signature.

Other questions

For factual corrections, spelling fixes, or outdated business details, you do not need a copyright notice — use the "Report incorrect info" link on any golf course page, or have the owner claim the listing to edit it directly.
